Today I am in Minneapolis (MPLS), MN to attend the "First Annual By Youth For Youth National Conference" [www.byyouthforyouth.com]. Denis (Youth Employment Summit Coordinator from Ireland) and I will hosting two workshops tomorrow to share on the Youth Employment Summit and to see how we can encourage American youth to work together to promote youth employment in their communities and to form networks to support their initiatives-and also to interact with other young people around the world. It will be fun. I have never been in a workshop talking about an issue such as youth unemployment with a group of young people from one of the the world's most prosperous nations. No doubt, the issue connects but I think it will be in a different way to that I have experienced. All the same, I really look forward to it and will let you all know how it goes.
I went to the Mall of America today! It is a HUGE place. We don't have things like that where I''m from (Zimbabwe)! And all I needed was a calling card to call Canada! That places in larger than a few cities and villages I know. Increible!
Well, I have to go for registration and the opening dinner. I need to take a shower, get out of bed and get ready for it all!
Stay well and let's keep connected!
Abrazos!
Duminho!
